Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for monitoring security infrastructure, performing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate threats.
• Prepare incident response plans and participate in drills.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as POPIA and GDPR.
• Review logs and alerts to detect suspicious activities.
• Liaise with external cybersecurity partners and vendors.
• Document security breaches and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are an advantage

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
