Responsibilities
Identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
Implement risk management strategies to mitigate threats.
Prepare incident response plans and participate in drills.
Ensure compliance with regulations such as POPIA and GDPR.
Review logs and alerts to detect suspicious activities.
Liaise with external cybersecurity partners and vendors.
Document security breaches and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are an advantage
