Architect

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a proactive Architect specializing in residential and commercial projects to enhance our design team in Johannesburg. You’ll play a critical role in project planning and execution, from early-stage sketches to final designs, working closely with clients and contractors. A deep understanding of local building regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and sustainable design concepts.
• Oversee the design process from concept through execution.
• Engage in client communications and project presentations.
• Manage project documentation efficiently with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints during project development.
• Advise clients on project feasibility and costs.
• Implement sustainable practices throughout project development.
• Evaluate contractors' proposals and manage contracts.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest architectural trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Architecture or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

• AutoCAD
• BIM Software

Certifications

• Registered Architect
• LEED AP Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
