Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and managing public health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health and experience with health promotion strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of community health programs.
• Assess the effectiveness of public health interventions and make necessary adjustments.
• Work in collaboration with diverse stakeholders to ensure program sustainability.
• Facilitate public health education initiatives for various demographics.
• Conduct research on emerging public health issues impacting the community.
• Generate reports for funding agencies and stakeholders detailing program impact.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Social Sciences
• Master’s degree in Public Health is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in public health management
