We are seeking Urologists to join our dedicated medical team. Successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions, working collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform urological surgical procedures as required.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate medical students and junior doctors in urological practices.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Contribute to departmental research and clinical trials.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Specialization in Urology, completed as per HPCSA standards

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in urology or related field

Technical Skills

• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Surgical expertise

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Teamwork and collaboration

Certifications

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Research in Urology: Experience in conducting clinical research is beneficial.
• Language proficiency in multiple languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
