Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing deployment processes. This role will challenge you to shape our DevOps strategy and ensure seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Docker containers and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Develop scripts for monitoring and alerting system performance metrics.
• Conduct regular system audits and manage version control.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose better solutions.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
