Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our Johannesburg team. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing case plans, and providing support and resources to individuals and families in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Assess client situations and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Facilitate access to community resources and services.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to clients and their families.
• Document case progress and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in case conferences and community meetings.
• Educate clients about available resources and services.
• Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
• Engage in ongoing professional training and supervision.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in social work or related field

Technical Skills

• Counseling
• Crisis Intervention

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Empathy

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
