Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting families during their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine pediatric assessments and document patient care.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families to aid in recovery.
  • Advocate for the health and well-being of pediatric patients and their families.
  • Coordinate with social services to assist families with resources and referrals.
  • Utilize technology and electronic health records to manage patient information.
  • Conduct research to improve pediatric nursing practices and outcomes.
  • Oversee the training and mentorship of junior nursing staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Specialization in Pediatric Nursing is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in pediatric settings
