Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to provide outstanding care in Cape Town. You will be pivotal in assessing patient needs, developing care strategies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for holistic patient management.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient symptoms and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for pre-approval for patient procedures.
  • Oversee and manage Clinical Nurse Assistants and their assigned duties.
  • Implement patient safety protocols to reduce the risk of infection.
  • Prepare patients for various tests, surgeries, or procedures.
  • Facilitate discharge planning and transition of care for patients.
  • Ensure that all ethical and legal obligations are observed during patient interactions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.N.)
  • Registered Nursing License (SANC certified)
Experience
  • Preference for candidates with experience in critical care or pediatrics
