Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care and rehabilitation services to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' progress towards occupational therapy goals and modify therapy techniques accordingly.
  • Assist patients in learning new skills needed for daily activities.
  • Collaborate with physiotherapists and speech therapists on interdisciplinary care.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on occupational therapy practices.
  • Advocate for patient needs and rights within the healthcare setting.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
