Product Demonstrator

Job Description

The Product Demonstrator will be responsible for showcasing and demonstrating our products to potential customers, highlighting their features and benefits, and answering any questions they may have. The successful candidate will be passionate about our products and able to effectively communicate our brand message.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote products at various retail locations.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to potential customers.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team.
• Participate in marketing events and trade shows to promote product features.
• Assist in designing product displays that attract customer attention.
• Create and maintain a positive brand image through customer interactions.
• Work closely with the marketing department to ensure alignment in promotions.
• Train new employees on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with competitor products and market trends.
• Contribute to the development of promotional strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Degree or diploma in sales, marketing or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 2-3 years' experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Strong time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in the consumer goods industry: Familiarity with consumer electronics or home appliances will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of CRM software: Experience using CRM systems to track customer interactions.
