Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Personal Property Appraiser to join our professional team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining the value of personal properties such as artwork, antiques, and collectibles. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and an understanding of the appraisal process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of personal property to determine accurate valuations.
  • Analyze market trends and comparable sales to support property evaluation.
  • Utilize advanced appraisal techniques and tools effectively.
  • Compile and present appraisal reports in a professional manner.
  • Stay abreast of changes in property appraisal regulations.
  • Provide consulting services to clients regarding asset valuations.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

  • Assist with training junior appraisers and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant degree in Property Appraisal or Real Estate is required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property appraisal, with a focus on personal property, is required.
