Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at Leading Healthcare Provider, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This position involves working across various departments, engaging in patient assessments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients, including assessments and treatments.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
• Adhere to industry standards for safety and quality of care.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort.
• Manage medication administration in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing (South African Nursing Council accredited)
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
