We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. You will work closely with architects and construction teams to develop detailed plans, perform structural analysis, and provide technical support throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of complex structural systems.
• Evaluate and select sustainable building materials.
• Provide technical guidance during the construction phase.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new construction projects.
• Report on the structural integrity of existing buildings.
• Drive initiatives for innovation in design methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to align on key deliverables.
• Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project proposals and reports.
• Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines and local building codes.

Advantageous

• Certifications in green building: Experience or certifications in green building standards such as LEED.
• Previous experience in high-rise building projects: Experience working on skyscraper or complex architecture projects.
