Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at Healthcare Solutions Group, you will be key in delivering exemplary nursing care in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient progress, implementing nursing interventions, and providing guidance to junior staff. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients.
• Administer IV medications and manage infusion therapy.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
• Conduct wound care and assist with procedures as necessary.
• Implement infection control protocols and practices.
• Support patients in daily activities and rehabilitation.
• Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
• Act as a liaison between patients and doctors to facilitate care.
• Assist in the management of medical inventory and supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing is advantageous

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in another language: Especially Afrikaans or Xhosa.
