Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Operations Manager to lead our operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance and optimizing production efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily supply chain operations to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Formulate and execute strategic plans for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
  • Establish strong partnerships with suppliers to enhance the flow of goods.
  • Utilize data analytics to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
  • Develop budgets and manage inventory costs to minimize waste.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain processes.
  • Provide training and development for supply chain staff.
  • Evaluate and implement supply chain technologies to improve operations.
  • Ensure risk management strategies are in place for supply chain disruptions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a relevant field
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in similar roles, specifically within high-volume environments.
