IT Support Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an IT Support Technician, where you'll be tasked with providing technical assistance and resolving IT issues for our clients in Durban. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT systems and excellent communication skills to help users effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support requests from clients quickly and professionally.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine solutions.
• Install new software and hardware on client systems.
• Support network infrastructures and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Keep detailed records of client interactions and ticket resolutions.
• Update and maintain technical documentation.
• Support IT projects and initiatives as required.
• Assist with user account management including permissions and access.
• Provide support for printing, imaging, and audio/visual needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an IT support role

Technical Skills

• Operating Systems
• Remote Desktop Tools

Soft Skills

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
