Pole Setter

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pole Setter to support our telecommunications infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of poles and related equipment, ensuring safety and stability in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Survey work sites for proper pole placement.
• Assist in operating equipment such as diggers and trucks.
• Climb poles to install cables, brackets, and hardware.
• Track and report on project progress and challenges faced.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot common installation issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Telecommunications

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in the field.

Technical Skills

• Experience with fiber optic cables
• Ability to operate heavy equipment

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
