Telecommunications Technician

Job Description

As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of telecom technologies and a passion for providing exceptional support.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of telecommunication projects.
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation conditions and requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance.
• Assist in training junior technicians and new team members.
• Manage and conduct audits of existing telecom installations.
• Respond promptly to service calls and client inquiries.
• Ensure that all telecom systems function optimally and efficiently.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Telecommunications or related field
• Certification in Networking or Internet Protocols preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry
