Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions affecting animals.
• Create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual animal needs.
• Conduct surgical procedures safely and effectively.
• Monitor and manage anaesthesia during surgical processes.
• Advise clients on nutrition, parasite control, and general pet care.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide optimum animal care.
• Engage in ongoing education to enhance veterinary knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)

Experience

• Experience in emergency care is advantageous

Certifications

• Basic Life Support for Animals

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
