Job Description

Looking for a passionate Medical Researcher to contribute to groundbreaking studies and trials in Port Elizabeth. You’ll coordinate with various teams to gather and analyze data that is critical to our research and enterprise goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical trials and manage all aspects of research projects.
• Collaborate with statisticians and data analysts on study designs.
• Ensure participant safety and adherence to medical guidelines.
• Draft scientific papers and reports for peer-reviewed publications.
• Participate in research meetings and contribute innovative ideas.
• Cultivate partnerships with academic and healthcare institutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and assist in training.
• Prepare grant proposals to secure funding for research initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or Health Sciences
• Master's degree is highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in clinical trials and research management

• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Certification
• ISO 14155 Certification for Clinical Research

Languages

• English: Fluent
