As a Childcare Worker at Bright Futures Childcare, you will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for children. Your role will involve engaging in various activities, supervising playtime, and providing emotional support to help children develop social and educational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily routines and schedules for children.

• Assist in providing first aid and responding to emergencies.

• Implement safety protocols during outdoor activities.
• Evaluate and adapt educational strategies based on children's needs.
• Create reports on children's developmental milestones.

• Encourage outdoor play and exploration.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education preferred

Experience

• 2+ years experience in childcare settings

Technical Skills

• Child Psychology

Certifications

• Childcare Assistant Certificate
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
