Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware in our Cape Town office. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
  • Coordinate with other IT team members to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Participate in the implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in technical support

Certifications
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
