We are on the lookout for a skilled Network Engineer to join our vibrant team in Durban. As a Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, troubleshooting skills, and a passion for innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain network routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Evaluate and enhance network performance and security measures.
• Assist users with connectivity issues and educate them on best practices.
• Maintain a detailed inventory of network hardware and software.
• Liaise with IT support to provide seamless network solutions.
• Conduct training on networking best practices for team members.
• Ensure backups and recovery procedures for network systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors for service upgrades or expansions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Relevant networking certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in network administration
