Job Description

As a Lab Analyst in our Durban facility, you'll work closely with a team of professionals to support cutting-edge research initiatives and ensure laboratory efficiency. Candidates should be detail-oriented and innovative thinkers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee laboratory experiments, ensuring adherence to methodologies.
• Analyze data and report findings to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project developments and challenges.
• Develop and implement protocols for laboratory procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
• Manage documentation for quality control and assurance practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance laboratory skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Research Methods is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of lab or research experience in a similar role
