Job Description

We're seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Durban. You will be responsible for workforce management, inventory control, and ensuring that we meet our targets effectively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as you'll work closely with other departments to optimize our logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate warehouse activities, ensuring timely operations.
• Manage staff scheduling and workload distribution.
• Supervise the safe operation of warehouse equipment.
• Implement best practices for inventory control.
• Collaborate with procurement to optimize stock levels.
• Conduct training programs for new hires in warehouse procedures.
• Evaluate team performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferable

Experience

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Principles: Understanding of Lean principles to improve efficiency in warehouse operations.
