Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing and production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement process optimization plans to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient and meet quality standards.
• Utilize statistical analysis to monitor and improve operations.
• Prepare reports on production performance and improvement activities.
• Work with the design team to ensure new product designs are manufacturable.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and costs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role.
