We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dedicated team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect our organization's information systems and data from cyber threats. Strong analytical skills and an understanding of security protocols are essential.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective security measures across IT systems.
• Participate in security risk assessments and remediation planning.
• Manage security configurations across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Coordinate with external vendors for thorough security checks.
• Document all security incidents and report to management.
• Facilitate security awareness training for all employees.
• Advise on best practices for data privacy and protection.
• Contribute to the security incident response plan.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or relevant field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
