Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to oversee and contribute to diverse electrical engineering projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in project management, electrical design, and site operations in line with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems in accordance with client requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project deliverables.
• Perform site inspections and quality control checks on installations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to optimize workflow.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation of all project phases for auditing purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional registration as a Pr Eng is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering or project management
