DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in George. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cloud computing and a strong understanding of CI/CD practices. You will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and collaborating with development teams to enhance workflows and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the deployment of applications in a cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructural issues rapidly.
• Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud applications.
• Integrate new technologies and tools to enhance cloud operations.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization for cloud systems.
• Lead tech reviews and improve continuous integration processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a cloud or DevOps role

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Kubernetes

Certifications

• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
