Architect

Job Description

Seeking a talented Architect to join our firm in Cape Town. In this role, you will lead various projects, from inception to completion. Your ability to blend creativity with technical expertise will be key in providing our clients with remarkable architectural designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts based on client needs and site analysis.
• Prepare high-quality presentation materials and visuals for client meetings.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate structural and MEP systems into designs.
• Review project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in design charrettes and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in architecture and design

Technical Skills

• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Site Analysis

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Sustainable Design: Knowledge and experience in environmentally friendly design practices and materials.
• Expertise in Urban Design: Strong understanding of urban planning and community development.
