Job Description

Seeking a talented Architect to join our firm in Cape Town. In this role, you will lead various projects, from inception to completion. Your ability to blend creativity with technical expertise will be key in providing our clients with remarkable architectural designs.

Responsibilities

• Draft and present renovation and modification proposals.
• Establish good relationships with building inspectors and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and innovations in sustainable architecture.
• Assist in preparing proposals and bids for new projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in architecture and design

Technical Skills

• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Site Analysis

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in GIS Software: Experience with Geographic Information Systems for site planning.
• Knowledge of Local Building Codes: Familiarity with Cape Town's building codes and regulations.
