Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our clinic in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will provide expert care to various animals, conduct examinations, diagnose ailments, and perform treatments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of pets and other animals.
  • Perform routine surgeries including spays and neuters.
  • Advise clients on treatments and health care of their pets.
  • Stay informed about veterinary advancements and technologies.
  • Maintain inventory and order medical supplies as necessary.
  • Provide compassionate care to all animals.
  • Train new staff and interns in veterinary practices and protocols.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal health.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Any certifications in veterinary emergency care are advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years working in a clinic setting preferred
