UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our creative team in Cape Town. In this role, you will focus on enhancing user experiences by designing intuitive interfaces that delight our customers. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketers to deliver designs that are not just visually appealing, but also functional and user-centric.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights.
• Create user personas and user journey maps to guide design decisions.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate with developers to implement designs and ensure adherence to UX/UI standards.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics data.
• Facilitate design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Develop and maintain a design system for consistency across products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of UX/UI design experience

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with responsive web design: Ability to design solutions for both mobile and desktop platforms.
