UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our creative team in Cape Town. In this role, you will focus on enhancing user experiences by designing intuitive interfaces that delight our customers. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketers to deliver designs that are not just visually appealing, but also functional and user-centric.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from conception to execution.
• Utilize design testing tools to assess user interaction and satisfaction.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable designs.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ensure all designs support the brand's vision and style guides.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to their professional growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of UX/UI design experience

Technical Skills

• Information Architecture

Certifications

• UX Certification from Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile processes for effective project collaboration.
