Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Aerospace Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work on the design, analysis, and testing of aerospace components, collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure high standards of performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from conception through to execution.
• Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with testing teams to validate designs and specifications.
• Conduct field assessments and inspections as required.
• Engage with clients for project updates and requirements.
• Support the development of supplier partnerships.
• Document engineering changes and updates for project records.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or relevant discipline
• Master's degree would be an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Aerospace Engineer (CAE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with regulatory standards in aviation: Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards affecting aerospace designs.
• Experience in advanced materials and composites: Understanding of advanced materials used in aerospace applications.
