Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer at Innovative Environmental Solutions in Port Elizabeth, you will apply your technical expertise to a variety of environmental challenges. You will be responsible for project development, analysis, and implementation of strategies that protect our natural ecosystems while promoting sustainable practices across the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of environmental issues.
• Assist in the design and implementation of solutions for waste management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on environmentally sensitive projects.
• Evaluate and report on site conditions and project feasibility.
• Champion sustainability initiatives within the organization.
• Review technical documents for accuracy and environmental compliance.
• Facilitate training and workshops on environmental best practices.
• Engage with local communities to address environmental concerns.
• Prepare funding proposals and grant applications for environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Science
• Master's degree in relevant field is a bonus

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in environmental roles
