Accountant

Job Description

Looking for an experienced Accountant to support our growing financial department. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in accounting software, be able to prepare budgets, forecasts, and take a hands-on approach in handling various financial tasks including audits and compliance checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national finance regulations.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Track financial performance and provide analysis to improve operations.
• Collaborate with colleagues in finance and other departments to streamline processes.
• Review financial discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Accounting is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software Proficiency (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks)
• Tax Preparation

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Professional Accounting Certification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA): Certification that enhances credibility and knowledge in accounting practices.
