Procurement Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to oversee the procurement process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that purchasing aligns with the company's goals and delivers value.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze procurement data to inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Assist in the implementation of procurement technology and tools.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members on procurement best practices.
• Evaluate supplier contracts regularly and recommend renewals or cancellations.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and procurement best practices.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Work with quality assurance to ensure that products meet specifications.
• Conduct sustainability assessments of suppliers where applicable.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects within the procurement function.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or related fields
