Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

As a Nurse Practitioner in our Johannesburg facility, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a diverse range of patient health needs. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care through your clinical expertise and patient-centered approach, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health through direct examination and patient history intake.
• Design and execute individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in health education programs for the community.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare trends and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3 years of clinical nursing practice

Certifications

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certification

• Bilingual in Afrikaans or other local languages: Ability to communicate fluently in Afrikaans or other local languages is a plus.
• Experience with geriatric patients: Experience in caring for elderly patients and understanding their unique needs.
