Job Description

As a Lens Examiner, you will be vital in examining and ensuring the quality of our lenses. Your responsibilities will include conducting tests and inspections to uphold our reputation for excellence in the optical industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect lenses for defects, scratches, and other imperfections.
• Use specialized equipment to measure lens parameters and ensure they meet specifications.
• Conduct visual examinations to ensure lens clarity and proper alignment.
• Identify and report any deviations from quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
• Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in lens manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Education

• Degree or Diploma in Optics, Optometry, or related field
• Certifications in lens examination or quality assurance are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in optical quality control or lens examination.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using optical testing equipment
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards related to lens production

Languages

• English: Fluent
