Job Description

As a Slitter Operator, you'll play a pivotal role in our production process. Your key responsibility will be to operate and maintain cutting machines that slice large rolls of various materials into smaller, precise pieces. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage slitting operations effectively.
  • Regularly inspect machinery for mechanical issues.
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain top quality of output.
  • Monitor production flow and ensure timely output to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow.
  • Document and report any incidents or irregularities in production.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all protocols.
  • Assist in training new staff on operational procedures.
  • Report any required materials or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical or vocational training in machine operation preferred
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience operating slitting machines or similar equipment.
