General Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Engineer to join our thriving team in Durban. You'll be responsible for supporting project execution from inception through completion, using your engineering expertise to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in our engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and ensure team cohesion.
• Review engineering designs for quality and accuracy.
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
• Support the continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4 years of experience in a similar engineering position

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• Technical Writing

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Engineering Software: Proficient in other engineering software tools such as MATLAB, RevIT.
• Background in Environmental Engineering: Experience dealing with environmental compliance and regulations.
