Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental evaluations and examinations.
• Perform surgical and non-surgical dental procedures.
• Educate patients about oral hygiene and treatment options.
• Assist in the management of the dental practice and team.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for dental procedures.
• Develop community outreach programs for dental health awareness.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond to dental emergencies and provide appropriate care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
• Master's degree or equivalent is preferable

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Proficient in dental procedures
• Knowledge of dental software

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities

Certifications

• Registered Dentist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with paediatric dentistry: Experience in providing dental care to children and young adults.
• Knowledge of orthodontics: Understanding of teeth alignment and corrective procedures.
