Responsibilities

• Examine patients’ dental and oral health issues.
• Administer anaesthesia and provide pain management options.
• Perform extractions, root canals, and other surgical dental procedures.
• Guide patients through treatment plans and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuous education.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Dentistry
• Additional postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• Min 3 years of clinical experience as a Dentist

Technical Skills

• Dental Diagnosis
• Oral Surgery

Soft Skills

• Patient Communication
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Proficient

• Familiarity with Dental Software: Experience working with dental practice management software.
