Job Description

As a Credit Authorizer, Checker, and Clerk, you will process and evaluate credit applications, ensuring compliance with regulations while assessing creditworthiness. Your role will involve liaising with clients and stakeholders to communicate decisions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess and approve credit limits based on financial evaluations.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of credit documentation.
• Support the team in dealing with credit-related queries and complaints.
• Maintain comprehensive records of credit transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of reports for management review.
• Investigate discrepancies in credit applications and resolve them.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss credit processes and improvements.
• Assist in the development of credit policies and procedures.
• Stay informed of changes in financial regulations and credit industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Professional certification in credit risk management (advantageous)

Experience

• At least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance sector

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and credit processes
• Database management

Soft Skills

• Strong decision-making skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with credit risk assessment and mitigation: Ability to analyze risks effectively and propose mitigation strategies.
• Experience with credit underwriting: Understanding the credit underwriting process and requirements.
