Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced General Practitioner to provide primary healthcare services at our Johannesburg practice. You will be tasked with managing patient care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with specialists to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and assess their health status.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Offer preventive care and health promotion strategies.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team members.
• Oversee patient management and treatment in accordance with guidelines.
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately.
• Raise awareness on health issues within the community.
• Supervise healthcare staff and trainees.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialist qualification in Family Medicine is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of primary healthcare experience preferred
