We are looking for a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient consultation, and managing drug therapy effectively. This role requires a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and adherence to pharmaceutical regulations.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of prescriptions and manage medication dispensing.
• Counsel patients about side effects and interactions of their medications.
• Participate in training programs for pharmacy interns and staff.
• Conduct health screenings and immunizations as needed.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with local and national laws.
• Contribute to pharmacy budget management and cost control.
• Engage in continuous education to stay updated on pharmaceutical trends.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technology
• Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a community pharmacy setting
