Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance our security measures in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and responding to incidents to safeguard sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate security tools and software for effectiveness.
• Collaborate with external vendors for security solutions.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and recommend improvements.
• Conduct training sessions to educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Participate in the overall risk management process within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT-related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Cloud Security

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
