Job Description

We're searching for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our daily operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in warehouse management. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing productivity and efficiency within the warehouse while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse staff and allocate tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and assist with stocktaking.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Address any operational issues that arise in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular training sessions on safety and equipment usage.
• Report on warehouse performance and suggest strategies for enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• Matric / High School Diploma
• Degree in Logistics or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Forklift Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Lean Warehousing Techniques: Familiarity with lean principles to improve warehouse operations.
