Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to provide exemplary care to pets and wildlife in our facility. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential as you will collaborate with our vet technicians and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surgery and post-operative care.
• Establish treatment plans for sick and injured animals.
• Supervise and mentor junior veterinary staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
• Address client concerns regarding treatment and animal care.
• Assist in managing the clinic's medical supply inventory.
• Participate in professional development and training sessions.
• Support a culture of compassion and care within the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Science
• Membership with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• At least 3 years experience in veterinary medicine.
