Job Description

The Harness Maker will be responsible for designing and creating harnesses to meet the diverse needs of our customers across various fields. This role incorporates working closely with clients to ensure their specifications are accurately translated into quality products.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative designs for harnesses tailored to customer needs.
• Provide expert advice to clients on the best harness options.
• Supervise the assembly of harnesses, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Perform safety checks and necessary adjustments on harnesses before delivery.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all designs and production processes.
• Participate in client meetings to assess their needs and expectations.
• Lead workshops to share knowledge on harness making techniques.
• Assist in improving production efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Further qualifications in harness making or relevant trade

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in harness making or related field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of mechanics and electronics
• Comfortable working with tools

Soft Skills

• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a specific industry: Proven experience working with automotive or agricultural harness systems.
• Certifications in industrial sewing: Relevant certifications that demonstrate advanced sewing techniques.
