Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Specialist to oversee our warehousing operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of logistics processes and a proven track record in warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper organization of warehouse space for efficiency.
• Monitor and organize inventory to prevent losses.
• Schedule and confirm deliveries with suppliers.
• Enhance warehouse layout to maximize space and efficiency.
• Collaborate with logistics team for streamlined operations.
• Conduct training and induction for new warehouse employees.
• Assist in budgeting and cost management for warehouse operations.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12
• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and warehouse management

Technical Skills

• SAP Warehouse Management
• Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Supply Chain Analytics Tools: Familiarity with tools that analyze supply chain performance and efficiency.
• Knowledge of Import/Export Regulations: Understanding regulations related to import and export activities.
